Don’t Skip Leg Day

Have you noticed the subtle changes in the air? It’s a little thinner, a little cooler — at least here in Truckee. Autumn is on its way, which means: don’t skip leg day. Living in the mountains, the change in the air means it’s time to get ready for ski season. Squats and lunges and bears, oh my! It’ll all pay off when I’m taking my nth run down my favorite-of-the-day line with best friends.

Working in OWA’s planning department is kind of like leg day, every day. We do the lifting (savings) and reps (annual goals) now, and then we enjoy the rewards (more powder runs) in the future. Just like prepping for the ski season ensures we’re ready to take advantage of all the fun ahead, our diligent financial planning today can help create a fulfilling future. The key is in the preparation. Whether it’s leg day or setting financial goals, the effort we put in now will lead to rewarding experiences down the line.
