My perfect day starts with my best friend, my love, Claudia. We head down the coast to Moss Beach Distillery — a beautiful, history-rich spot overlooking the ocean. On this day, we’re blessed with sunshine, crystal-clear views for miles, and the sight of a fishing boat making its way home. The fresh ocean breeze, warm sun, and great company are the moments that make me feel most alive! I order a Mai Tai, enjoy some good food, and settle into that feeling where time slows down a little.
From there, we wander over to Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. The cypress trees are incredible, and the water shifts through so many shades of blue and green that it feels more like Hawaii or Mexico than Northern California. We don’t bother with towels or blankets — just my jacket spread out on the sand as we lay there together, soaking up the sun, the quiet, and the simple peace of the moment.
